Description:
2-Aminoquinazoline is a hydrogen-bonded, hydrophobic molecule that was found to be an efficient method to synthesize 2-aminoquinazoline derivatives. The compound has been shown to inhibit glutamate receptor subtype, which may lead to the treatment of cancer. 2-Aminoquinazolines are also allosteric modulators of metabotropic glutamate receptors and have neurodevelopmental effects.
