H-Arg(Mtr)-OH H2O is a biochemical that has been shown to be a potent and selective inhibitor of the thrombin receptor. It is also an allosteric modulator of the fibrinogen receptor, which may be due to its interaction with the amide bond in the peptidyl region. H-Arg(Mtr)-OH H2O has been synthesized by solid-phase synthesis on a trifluoroacetate resin using UV light, and purified using an HPLC system. This chemical is water soluble, and can be used in biochemical assays as well as for deprotecting peptides.
