Z-Arg-pNA HCl is an amino acid sequence that is a tripeptide with the sequence Arg-pNA. It has been shown to have antiviral activity against influenza virus. Z-Arg-pNA HCl induces activation of influenza virus, and can be used in a number of techniques involving cell cultures. This molecule has also been shown to inhibit the replication of influenza virus in culture supernatants from cells infected with influenza virus.
