1-Aminobenzene-3,4,5-tricarboxylic acid is a transport inhibitor that is used to block the uptake of 1-aminobenzene by cells. It has been shown to have a diameter of 6 nm and chemical stability. This substance can be dissolved in water, alcohols, and polar organic solvents. The particles are spherical with an average size of 10 nm. This compound exhibits strong absorption in the ultraviolet region. It is fluorescent and has high fluorescence properties. 1-Aminobenzene-3,4,5-tricarboxylic acid can enter cells through passive diffusion or active transport mechanisms. It binds to metal ions and multi-walled carbon nanotubes which can be used for uv irradiation.
