Description

6-Acetamidohexanoic acid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that has been shown to have no acute toxicities in animal models. It exhibits the same degree of efficacy as other NSAIDs, but with a longer duration of action. 6-Acetamidohexanoic acid exhibits excellent chemical stability and is suitable for sample preparation. The biological samples that can be used for analysis include blood, serum, plasma, urine, and tissue homogenates. This drug also has an anti-inflammatory property that is comparable to other NSAIDs, but it does not exhibit any adverse effects on bowel function or platelet function. 6-Acetamidohexanoic acid may be useful for the treatment of diseases such as cancer and arthritis.
