Description

5-Aminooxindole is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of human glioblastoma and subcutaneous tumors in animal models. It has also been shown to have anti-tumor activity in human liver cells. 5-Aminooxindole inhibits the activity of the tyrosine kinase, which is an enzyme involved in cell growth, differentiation, and other cellular processes. The drug binds to the active site of the enzyme and blocks its function. This binding prevents ATP from binding to the enzyme and leads to inhibition of tumor cell proliferation and tumor growth.
