Description

Acetyl-L-norvaline is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of analogs. It can be used to produce ternary complexes with acceptors and reaction rates. Acetyl-L-norvaline has been shown to inhibit the binding of propranolol hydrochloride and phenolic acid, which are substrates, to silicon in medicine. Acetyl-L-norvaline also inhibits substrate binding in microprocessors. Acetyl-L-norvaline is an analogue of acetylcholine and its structure was determined by x-ray crystallography at a resolution of 1.3 A.
