Description:

1-Allyl-1H-imidazole is an antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi. It has been shown to be effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains in cell culture. 1-Allyl-1H-imidazole is a phenolic acid that can be used as a biodiesel substitute for diesel fuel, which may have potential applications in the treatment of bacterial infections. 1-Allyl-1H-imidazole has been shown to inhibit the production of protocatechuic acid by hydrogen bonding interactions with the target molecule, which may lead to new antibiotics.
