Description

(S)-(-)-1-Amino-2-(methoxymethyl)pyrrolidine is a diagnostic reagent that can be used in the diagnosis of skin diseases. It has been shown to stimulate the growth of epidermal cells and promote their differentiation into keratinocytes. The mechanism by which this drug stimulates epidermal growth may involve activation of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). This drug also has an effect on monoclonal antibody production, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the activity of transcriptional regulators.
