Description:
(S)-2-(Aminomethyl)-1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyrrolidine is a pyridinium salt that has been shown to enhance the uptake of dopamine in vitro. It also has been shown to increase the brain flow rate and improve cognitive functions. (S)-2-(Aminomethyl)-1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyrrolidine was found to have a high affinity for dopamine D3 receptors in striata, which may be due to its chiral nature.
