Description:

2-Amino-4,5-difluorobenzoic acid is a drug that belongs to the class of polymer drugs. It is also known as 2,4,5-trifluoroaniline. The FTIR spectroscopy and NMR spectra of this drug showed that it has a strong intramolecular hydrogen bond. This drug has shown to be active against human liver cancer cells in vitro. 2-Amino-4,5-difluorobenzoic acid can produce fluorescence in the presence of an excitation wavelength and has an absorption maximum at 365 nm with a molar absorptivity of 10,000 M^(-1) cm^(-1). The diazonium salt formed by the reaction of this drug with nitrous acid can be used for the synthesis of other molecules.
