Description

7-Amino-4-hydroxy-2-naphthalene sulphonic acid is a chemical compound that is used in wastewater treatment. It has been shown to be effective for the removal of organic matter, dyes, and other contaminants. The reactive nature of 7-Amino-4-hydroxy-2-naphthalene sulphonic acid makes it useful for the production of diazonium salts, which are electrochemically active. 7-Amino-4-hydroxy-2 naphthalene sulphonic acid also reacts with copper ions to form a copper complex that can be used as a catalyst in organic synthesis reactions.
