Description:
Aluminium trifluoroacetate is a reactive inorganic compound that is used as an additive, a nucleating agent, and a catalyst. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. Aluminium trifluoroacetate is also used as a coating for 3-mercaptopropionic acid (3MPA) and sodium trifluoroacetate (NaTFAC). This coating prevents the release of peroxide and stabilizes the product.
