Description:
Bropirimine is a drug that has the ability to inhibit the replication of phleboviruses in animals. It was tested for its cytotoxic effect on cultured cells and found to have a statistically significant inhibitory effect on tumor growth in vivo. Bropirimine also has renal toxicity, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
