Description

(2R)-2-Amino-3-(2,3,5,6-Tetrafluoro-4-Hydroxyphenyl)Propanoic Acid is a fluorescent sensor that is used as an electron donor in photochemical experiments. It has been shown to be resistant to fluoroquinolones and aminoglycosides. The amino acid sequence of (2R)-2-Amino-3-(2,3,5,6-Tetrafluoro-4-Hydroxyphenyl)Propanoic Acid contains a flavoprotein domain. This domain consists of two parts: the first part is the light harvesting domain and the second part is the catalytic domain. The fluorescent sensor was also found to have a family with other fluorescent compounds.
