Product Information
2-Chloro-6-hydrazinyl-9H-purine is an analog of purine, with the chlorine substituting for the hydrogen in position 2. It is synthesized from pyridazine and triazole and has been tested as a potential anti-cancer drug. 2CHP inhibits DNA synthesis by interfering with the incorporation of guanine into DNA. This drug also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
