Product Information
Pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid amide is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist that is used to treat autoimmune diseases. Pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid amide has been shown to inhibit the production of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) in vitro and in vivo. This compound also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used as an antiviral agent against influenza virus. Pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid amide binds to the MMP, leading to its inhibition. The covalent linkages between the pyridine ring and the carboxyl group are important for binding to MMPs. Pyridazine-3-carboxylic acid amide also has functional groups such as a heterocycle, carboxylic acid, or α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor affinity.
