Product Information
4-Benzyloxyphenylacetone is a phenolic compound that has been shown to trigger symptoms of Parkinson's disease in wild-type mice. It also induces the expression of amide, a protein involved in the polymerase chain reaction, and gangliosides, which are proteins found in the cell membrane that are activated by cations. 4-Benzyloxyphenylacetone has been shown to be effective against metastatic colorectal cancer cells and cancer cells with activated cation channels. 4-Benzyloxyphenylacetone inhibits tumor growth in testicular cancer cells through inhibition of non-selective cation channels.
