Description:

8-Azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-3-one is a bicyclic heterocycle that has a palladium complex with trifluoroacetic acid and a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist. 8-Azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-3-one has been shown to reduce the progression of autoimmune diseases by suppressing the production of proinflammatory cytokines in the host cell, such as TNFα and IL-6. It also prevents the formation of amyloid plaques in an animal model for Alzheimer's disease. This compound can be used to immobilize enzymes for use in bioreactors or to inhibit bacterial growth by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors on their cell surface membrane and blocking amine uptake into cells, which is essential for protein synthesis and cell division.br>br>8-Azabicyclo[3.2.1
