Description

N,N-Diethylallylamine is a chemical compound with the formula CH3CH2CH2CH=CH2. It is an allyl ligand that binds to metals such as palladium. N,N-Diethylallylamine has been shown to undergo nucleophilic attack by trifluoromethanesulfonic acid to form a metal salt. N,N-Diethylallylamine also polymerizes at low temperatures and can act as an initiator for the polymerization of other monomers such as dimethyl fumarate (DMF).
