Description:
1,2-Diphenylethane-1,2-diamine is a fluorescent compound that is used in the chromatographic method of analyzing herpes simplex virus. It has been shown to bind with plasma proteins and form hydrogen bonding interactions with dopamine. The compound fluoresces when excited by light at 337 nm, and this property can be used to measure the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy of dopamine.
