Product Information

Name:
3-(difluoromethyl)-5-fluoro-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid
Description:

3-(difluoromethyl)-5-fluoro-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid (3FMP) is a carboxamide derivative that inhibits the growth of fungi and phytopathogenic fungi. It is used to protect plants from fungal diseases, such as rusts, powdery mildews, and leaf spots. 3FMP has been shown to inhibit plant growth by inhibiting the synthesis of chlorophyll, which is required for photosynthesis. The active compound in 3FMP is 3-(difluoromethyl)-5-fluoro-1H-pyrazole (DFM). DFM inhibits the synthesis of chlorophyll and other metabolites necessary for photosynthesis.
