Description

1,1'-Binaphthyl-2,2'-diyl hydrogenphosphate is a chiral compound that is the counterion for cellulose derivatives. It has been shown to have the ability to bind with hydrochloric acid and form salts that are soluble in water. This property makes it an important additive for many industrial products, including detergents and paper. 1,1'-Binaphthyl-2,2'-diyl hydrogenphosphate is also used as a reagent for the determination of phosphate groups in organic compounds by titration calorimetry.
