Description:

5-Bromo-2-chloropyridine is an organometallic compound that is structurally similar to nicotinic acetylcholine. It has been shown to have minimal inhibitory concentrations of 18 μg/mL or less against a panel of bacterial strains and replicons. 5-Bromo-2-chloropyridine has also shown some clinical development, with the vibrational spectra showing that it may exhibit a molecule in the α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor.
