Description:
(4-Butoxy-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridin-5-yl)(2,6-difluoro-4-methylphenyl)-methanone is a new compound that has been shown to have an anti-cancer effect on pancreatic cancer cells. It has also been shown to inhibit the growth of xenograft tumor in mice. The mechanism of action is not yet known, but it is thought to be due to its ability to bind to endophytes and growth factors. This drug also inhibits the growth of fungal endophytes such as Candida albicans and Aspergillus fumigatus in culture experiments.
