N4,N4'-Bis(3,4-Dihydro-2H-Pyrrol-5-Yl)-3,3'-Difluoro-[1,1'-Biphenyl]-4,4'-Diamine is a synthetic amoebicide. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of amoebiasis that is caused by Entamoeba histolytica. This drug has been synthesized using molybdenum and zirconium catalysts. The synthesis of this compound requires the use of fatty alcohols and fatty acid esters as starting materials. Impurities found in N4,N4'-bis(3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrrol-5-yl)-3,3'-difluoro-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine may include but are not limited to zirconium
