Boc-Ala-Gly-OH is a synthetic chemotactic peptide. It was originally synthesized in the form of an N-terminal amide and conjugated to a variety of carrier proteins, including bovine serum albumin, ovalbumin, thyroglobulin, and keyhole limpet hemocyanin. Boc-Ala-Gly-OH has been shown to stimulate the growth of various cell types including platelets and erythrocytes, as well as to inhibit tumor growth.
