Product Information
(1,3-Benzoxazol-2-ylthio)acetic acid is an organic molecule with a conformational geometry. It exists in two conformations: the cis and trans forms. The cis form has a geometric isomerism of CsCl and the trans form has a geometric isomerism of PbCl. When (1,3-Benzoxazol-2-ylthio)acetic acid is mixed with other compounds, it forms hydrazones with different stereoisomers. This compound can exist as either an enantiomer or diastereoisomer depending on whether the hydrogen atom or oxygen atom is substituted at the chiral center. Spectroscopy can be used to identify this compound's configuration, but equilibrium constants are used to determine its ratio in mixtures.br>br>
