5-Bromo-2-benzoxazolinone is a drug that has been synthesised for use in clinical trials. This compound also has a high affinity for the ρ1 receptor, which is found in the brain and plays a role in depression and anxiety. 5-Bromo-2-benzoxazolinone is heterocyclic with an oxygen atom at its centre.
