Description:

3-(Benzylamino)pyrrolidine-2,5-dione is a maleimide that can be synthesized from benzylamine. It has a heterocyclic system and is a heterocyclic compound. 3-(Benzylamino)pyrrolidine-2,5-dione reacts with nucleophiles to form an iminium intermediate. The regioselectivity of this reaction depends on the substituents on 3-(benzylamino)pyrrolidine-2,5-dione.
