Description:
5-Bromo-1-ethyl-1H-pyrazole is a hydrazine compound that is used as a raw material for the production of alkylhydrazines. It can be prepared by reacting ethyl bromopyrazole with sodium methoxide in methanol. The yields are up to 95% and the product has a high purity. 5-Bromo-1-ethyl-1H-pyrazole can also be used in reactions with ketones or halides, producing alkylhydrazones or hydrazones, respectively.
