Description:
5-Bromo-1-methyl-1H-indole is a palladium complex that is used as an alkylating agent. It has been shown to be an optimal reaction with 5,6-dihydroquinoline and diarylmethanes. The product yields are dependent on the deuteration of the substrate and the synthetic chemistry. This complex has been shown to produce chiral products in high yields when reacting with 2,4,6-trichlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride or 4,4'-dimethoxybenzyl bromide.
