Product Information
- 1-Cyclohexyl-1-Bromomethane
Bromomethylcyclohexane is a cox-2 inhibitor that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of autoimmune diseases. It has nitrogen atoms and a basic structure and can be synthesized by an asymmetric synthesis. Bromomethylcyclohexane binds to the cb2 receptor and is able to inhibit secretory phospholipase A2, which causes inflammation. This compound also inhibits carotenoid synthesis, which may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory properties. Bromomethylcyclohexane is an analog of synthetic cannabinoids (e.g., JWH-133).
