Description:
1-Bromo-2,3-dimethoxybenzene is a pharmaceutical preparation that is used as an anti-inflammatory agent. It has shown potent inhibition against carboxamido and tyrosine kinase, but only weak inhibition against methoxy groups. 1-Bromo-2,3-dimethoxybenzene also inhibits the activity of leukotriene antagonists in the body and has been used to treat viral diseases such as hepatitis C. This pharmaceutical preparation has been used to treat cancer by inhibiting the growth of tumour cells.
