Product Information

Name:
6-Bromoquinoxaline
Synonyms:
  • Quinoxaline, 6-bromo-
Description:

6-Bromoquinoxaline is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) 4 and 6. CDKs are enzymes that regulate the progression of cells through the cell cycle, which is important for cancer prevention. 6-Bromoquinoxaline has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of PD-L1 and pd-L1 expression in vitro and in vivo. This drug is also an antibacterial agent with pharmacophore properties that inhibit bacterial growth by binding to membrane cytochrome c oxidase and catalysing its oxidation. 6-Bromoquinoxaline binds to the type 1 receptor on T cells, leading to death ligand-induced apoptosis.
