Description:
(3-Bromoprop-1-en-2-yl)benzene is a pharmacological agent that inhibits the enzymes responsible for the synthesis of catecholamines. (3-Bromoprop-1-en-2-yl)benzene has been shown to inhibit both time and work dependent inactivation of these enzymes, which are catalyzed by electron transfer. This agent also inhibits neurotransmitter release in the nervous system, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the biosynthesis of catecholamines.
