Description:
4-Bromoisoindoline-1,3-dione is a cationic surfactant that has been shown to inhibit the activity of enzymes. These enzyme inhibitors are used in organic solutions as surface active agents. 4-Bromoisoindoline-1,3-dione binds to amino acid residues on the protein surface and blocks the binding of other molecules such as substrates or cofactors.
