It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the enzyme DNA gyrase at low temperatures (4 degrees Celsius). 3-Bromo-4H-1,2,4-triazole has been analysed by spectroscopic methods and found to possess vibrational and annular spectra. The tautomers of this substance are also known to exist.
