3-Bromo-2-methoxyphenylboronic acid is a heterocyclic compound. It is an organic boronate ester that is used in the synthesis of pyridines, dibenzothiophenes, and dibenzofurans. 3-Bromo-2-methoxyphenylboronic acid is also used as a ligand for palladium(II) catalysts in Suzuki coupling reactions.
