Description:

2-N-Boc-amino-4-benzothiazole-6-carboxylic acid is a synthetic antifungal agent that has been shown to be effective against candida albicans, which is a common yeast infection. It has also been shown to inhibit the growth of other fungi, including Aspergillus niger and Candida parapsilosis. The compound inhibits the synthesis of proteins by binding to ribosomes and preventing protein synthesis. This compound also has an in vitro potency against 2-aminobenzothiazole, which is a low nanomolar range reagent that can be used as an inhibitor for protein synthesis.
