Product Information
- 5-Bromo-6-Chloropyridin-3-Ol
3-Bromo-2-chloro-5-hydroxypyridine is an organic compound that binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, which are found on the surface of the neuromuscular junction. It binds to acetylcholine receptors and mediates a response in the body by stimulating muscle contractions. It is structurally related to 3-bromo-5-hydroxypyridine, which has been shown to inhibit acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity. The affinity of 3-bromo-2,5 chloropyridine for nicotinic acetylcholine receptor is greater than its affinity for other types of receptors such as dopamine or serotonin receptors.
