Description

3-(4-Bromophenyl)-5-(1-chloro-2-methylpropan-2-yl)-1,2,4-oxadiazole is a cyano triazolo thiomorpholine morpholine piperidine hydroxy quinoline derivative. This compound is used to treat inflammatory diseases such as arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of kinases that promote inflammation. 3-(4-Bromophenyl)-5-(1-chloro-2-methylpropan-2-yl)-1,2,4-oxadiazole inhibits the production of cycloheptane and cyclopentane by blocking the enzyme cyclobutane monooxygenase. The crystalline form of this drug has also been shown to inhibit nitric oxide synthase.
