Description:
3-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-isoxazole-5-carboxylic acid ethylester is a cross-linking agent that is used to produce siloxane polymers. It reacts with the hydroxyl groups of an organic compound, such as an alcohol or phenol, to form an ether bond. This cross-linkage can be used in the production of silicone elastomers and resins. 3-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-isoxazole-5-carboxylic acid ethylester has been shown to react with carbon atoms, which may be due to its radical properties.
