Product Information
Tert-butyl 2-nitrophenylcarbamate is a monosubstituted derivative of 4-methoxy-2-nitroaniline. It is synthesized by reacting 4-methoxy-2-nitroaniline with benzoic acid in the presence of base. The synthesis can be carried out using a number of strategies, such as the use of heterocyclic rings or functional groups that are not present in the starting material. Tert-butyl 2-nitrophenylcarbamate can also be obtained by reaction between aniline and nitrobenzene in the presence of sodium hydroxide.
