Description:

2-Bromo-4-methyl-1H-imidazole is a tetracyclic heterocycle that is synthesized through a cross-coupling reaction, using an ionic liquid as the solvent. It has been shown to be able to catalyze the production of nitrate and can be used for the synthesis of heterocycles with high yields. 2-Bromo-4-methyl-1H-imidazole is also able to form frameworks with nitrogen atoms, which have been shown to have mesoporous properties. This compound can also be used in techniques such as filtration and physicochemical techniques.
