1,3-Bis(benzyloxy)-5-broMobenzene is a chemical compound that can be used as an intermediate in the production of other drugs. Citrinin, a fungal toxin found in mushrooms, can be synthesized from 1,3-Bis(benzyloxy)-5-broMobenzene by reacting it with benzaldehyde and sodium borohydride (Grignard reagent).
