It can also react with chlorides and radical coupling agents to form substituted arenes. 2-Bromonorbornane has been shown to undergo stereoselective reactions with halides and alkylmagnesium compounds. This product is stable at room temperature, but should be stored in a refrigerator or freezer due to its high activity.
