Description

Bromomethylboronic acid pinacol ester (BMBE) is a diagnostic agent that is used in the diagnosis of cancer. It is also used for the treatment of cancer and other diseases, such as infectious diseases. This compound has a high affinity for nucleophilic sites and has potent inhibition properties against many enzymes. BMBE binds to specific amino acids, such as lysine, cysteine, and histidine, which are found in proteins that are important for cell division.
