Description:
3-Bromo-2,2-dimethylpropionic acid is a stabilizer that activates amides and dialkylamides, which can be used as hydrogen peroxide scavengers. 3-Bromo-2,2-dimethylpropionic acid can also be used to stabilize the synthesis of piperidine by reacting with sodium sulfide. It has been shown to modulate the formation of imidazopyridines in animals and to mediate the production of sulfides from peroxides.
