The crystal structures of the title compound were determined by X-ray diffraction and found to be related to other 5-membered nitrogen heterocycles. The crystal structure of the title compound was also analysed by statistical techniques and it was found to contain statistically significant amounts of peroxide, which may be useful in future studies.
